What we experience with God
North to South, East to West

The impetus for the prayer at the "gates of the city" came out of the joint prayer in Pattaya's red-light district. We saw it as a concrete step of prayer to celebrate communion bridging the supposed differences between churches and ministries as a protection for the city, symbolically pouring out the blood of Jesus at the gates of the city. Each gathering was marked by joy over the deeds of Jesus and His love for Pattaya.
The beginning was made in the north. On a pedestrian bridge over the main street, christians gathered for worship, proclamations, dance, and the holy communion, which brought forth numerous impactful blessings and prayers.

Clockwise, we continued: In the east of Pattaya, we gathered near the highway—the main artery to the city. There, we received a Bible verse that had repeatedly been shared at interdenominational meetings in the city: “Behold, I am doing a new thing; it is springing forth—do you not perceive it? I will make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert.” (From Isaiah 42:19). Concurrently, an powerful downpour enveloped the city around us.
When we met in the south, we had to seek shade, unlike in the east. Various ministries and nationalities worshiped together, and the time of prayer was marked by encouragement and refreshment for the body of Christ in Pattaya.

In the west, there was something new: we gathered over the water in the bay of Pattaya, at the only pier leading to the city. In worship, we interceded for the city's women in prayer and lifted up the power of the blood of Jesus over the city and its people.
Four directions and prayer at the entrances to the city: that 'through the blessing of the upright the city may flourish.'
