Do you have a specific country in mind that you would like to immerse yourself in for a longer period of time? You realize that God is speaking about missions and would like to take a few months to see what that actually looks like? Or do you simply have spare time and want to make it available to God and at the same time move forward in your calling? Welcome to Mission Experience – an opportunity for you to immerse yourself in one of our existing missions, live on the ground with our teams, learn from locals and missionaries and see first-hand what missionary life looks like. You will encounter a different culture, worship, pray and experience the Holy Spirit with us and make valuable experience. Step out of your comfort zone and into God's plan for your life - because sometimes it's good to just go!
The Philippines
Location: Set Free Center (for men, couples or two women over 30)
Time frame: minimum two months
Expenses: (board and lodging): 250 EUR plus approx. 50 EUR pocket money per month
Age: 20 to 50 years old
You live with us, immerse yourself in the Filipino culture and help in practical ways. Also, you'll go on outreaches - whether to prisons, the slums or home visits - there is plenty opportunity to share God's love. You will also have the opportunity to get to know our other missions branches in Manila and participate in our general life.
Mongolia
Location: Ulan Bator (capital), Khentii and Bayan Ölgii provinces
Time frame: Three months or more
Expenses: (board and lodging): 200 EUR plus about 50 EUR pocket money per month
Age: 18 years and older
Our mission branches in Mongolia are diverse – and so is your time with us. In addition to hands-on work in our homes, you may help in our alcohol rehab (for male volunteers only), support our children's ministry and participate in outreaches and evangelistic campaigns. You will also be part of our devotional fellowship times and have the opportunity to get involved.
FAQs
English is a basic requirement as it is the basis of communication abroad. But don't worry – you can communicate with your hands and feet and you will certainly learn some of the local language during your time abroad.

- Immunizations: Varies by country, please check with your doctor. We recommend all vaccinations listed on the official website of each country.
- Open to new cultures, languages and people
Send us a message via the contact form – you will receive a direct response from the respective country, followed by a ZOOM interview (dates and times will be individually arranged). If this is the GO for both you and us, we will invite you to Lüdenscheid for a preparation period, after which you will receive your final response. And from there you can start planning your time abroad!
Once your application to the respective country is out and you had a ZOOM interview, you come to Lüdenscheid and spend time at our REVIVAL SCHOOL. Here you may ask all your questions, get to know us and make your final decision. Your stay can be arranged individually and is organized according to the duration of your outreach:
up to 3 months abroad: one week
3-12 months abroad: two weeks
Since you will be with us for a limited period of time and not be working, you will enter the country on a tourist visa. Our teams will send all relevant information with your confirmation and give you hints on what to be aware of.
