With up to 60,000 prostitutes, Pattaya is one of the largest red-light districts in the world. People are looking for love, but don't find it ... the city advertises an exciting nightlife, but reality is marked by drugs, alcohol and violence. Everything is for sale, except hope. As a team of four we decided to leave everything behind and go to Pattaya to provide people with the opportunity of encountering and getting to know God.
JESUS is the answer! He came to seek and save the lost and looks at Pattaya with eyes of love and mercy. We want to see the resurrection power of Jesus saving people and them becoming born again, getting healed in their bodies and souls, and then for these people to share what Jesus has done for them.
Our Vision
The vision of HELP Thailand is to establish a fellowship in Pattaya with different branches. God has spoken to us about three core points that we are going after step by step.
Urban Mission
We believe that the people in Pattaya need to hear the gospel, for how can they believe what they have not heard (see Romans 10:14)? This is done through evangelism and outreaches in the city. Prayer and public worship are the foundation for this.
Mercy Ministry
We feel called to welcome drug addicted women in Pattaya, and Thailand in general into our community so they may find new life in Jesus and be set free. Although drug addiction is not a small problem nationwide, there are no drop-in or rehab centers for addicted women to get help. Our life should be a response to this need.
Training
We also want to train and strengthen the body of Christ in Pattaya as well as throughout Thailand. To accomplish this, we do seminars, conferences or a mission school. In the long run, we want to train Asians in discipleship, missions and full-time ministry, especially through a mission school. The nations are already coming to Pattaya. We want to bless them with missionaries from Pattaya.
The Team
We are: Simon and Karin, Elisabeth and Salome. Each of us has heard God's call and answered to it. That's how we came together as a pioneer team to Pattaya in October 2023. The resurrection power of Jesus is transforming this city. We are here for the people of Pattaya to hear about and meet Jesus and receive Him as their Savior. This will kick off the transformation and the city will be renewed.

In order to realize this vision, official requirements must be met:
The foundation is the establishment of an association in Thailand. This will provide the legal framework to pursue God's vision in Pattaya. A good lawyer helps us with the paper work and dealing with the authorities. We need 15,000 EUR to cover the lawyer's fees, deposits and government fees. God's heartbeat for the people of Pattaya, their salvation and restoration is obvious to us. With your donation you become a shareholder of this heartbeat!
